Alison Main is a published writer and journalist covering the dynamic interplay between environmental health and public health, as well as the convergence of digital and artificial technologies with the evolution of humanity. Also a published nonfiction essayist, Alison explores topics of existential interest through personal memoir.
Alison began her career in the marketing and advertising departments of Pearson Education in New York City. She subsequently worked as Promotions Manager for InvestmentNews at Crain Communications. In 2009, she moved into the freelance sector as a creative director with an expertise in integrated advertising campaigns and events promotion, partnering mainly with clients in the media.
Alison graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude with a BA in English and Economics from the University of Notre Dame. She also holds a Certification in Graphic & Digital Design from Parsons School of Design. She is a member of AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science).
