Alison Main is a freelance writer and journalist covering the dynamic interplay between environmental health and public health, as well as the convergence of digital and artificial technologies with the evolution of humanity. Also a published nonfiction essayist, Alison explores topics of existential interest through personal memoir.

Her writing has appeared in Southern Living Magazine, Craftsmanship Magazine, Paleo Magazine, Best Self Magazine, Notre Dame Magazine, GreenMedInfo, and other print and digital publications, both national and regional. Media appearances include KGNU Boulder/Denver, One Life Radio, and Paleo Magazine Radio.

A skilled researcher and journalist, Alison covers environmental health, public health, technology and humanity, wireless technology, bio-electromagnetism, and building science.

Also a seasoned creative and advertising director, Alison has worked with a national roster of clients, including Environmental Health Trust, BtoB Magazine, Demandbase, and Critical Mention. Alison began her career in the marketing and advertising departments of Pearson Education in New York City. She subsequently worked as Promotions Manager for InvestmentNews at Crain Communications. In 2009, she established a freelance creative business, where she continues to help clients realize their written and visual communication goals.
