Alison Main is a writer, graphic designer, and creative director, with twenty years experience in the media space.

Alison has worked with a national roster of clients to develop, launch, and manage multimedia advertising and marketing campaigns, with an expertise in events promotions.

Her past and present client list includes: BtoB Magazine, Advertising Age, Informa Tech, Critical Mention, Crain’s New York Business, Euromoney Institutional Investor, Demandbase, CBS Interactive, Crain’s Chicago Business, Crain’s Detroit Business, The Nation, Modern Healthcare, Media Business Magazine, NewBay Media, Piramal Imaging, Pearson Education, Environmental Health Trust, Emerald Expositions, Business Insurance, Scholastic Publishers, and TMPC Inc, along with a handful of small businesses and nonprofits.

As a writer/journalist, Alison covers the dynamic interplay between environmental health and public health, as well as the convergence of digital and artificial technologies with the evolution of humanity. Alison’s writing has appeared in Southern Living Magazine, Craftsmanship Magazine, Paleo Magazine, Best Self Magazine, Notre Dame Magazine, GreenMedInfo, and other print and digital publications, both national and regional. Media appearances include KGNU Boulder/Denver, One Life Radio, and Paleo Magazine Radio.

Alison began her career in the marketing and advertising departments of Pearson Education in New York City. She subsequently worked as Promotions Manager for InvestmentNews at Crain Communications. In 2009, she established a freelance creative business, where she partners with clients to realize their written and visual communication goals.
